Dentures & Partials

Dentures & Partials

Dentures are an appliance that is used when someone needs all of their teeth replaced.

There are two types of dentures: conventional or immediate.

You will receive a conventional denture about one month after having your teeth removed. This is done so that your mouth has enough time to properly heal. On the other hand, immediate dentures are fitted immediately after your teeth have been removed. It’s important to remember, though, that after the mouth has healed, you will need to go back to the dentist to have the immediate dentures relined.

A partial is similar to a dental bridge because they also fill in areas where there’s a missing tooth.

It keeps your teeth from shifting or changing position.

The benefits of dentures and partials are that they are removable and they can help restore your smile. Additionally, they can help you speak and eat.
