First Visit

Home / First Visit

Meeting with a new dentist for the first time can be nerve-wracking for some patients.

You don’t know what the office is like, what the personalities of the staff are like, whether or not the doctor will criticize you for not taking better care of your teeth…There’s a lot that’s going through everyone’s minds while we prepare for our appointments. At Galion Dental Partners, our new and current patients have nothing to worry about.

We believe that our greatest asset is the kindness and compassion that everyone on our team shows our patients.

So go ahead, relax a little bit.

During your first visit, one of our skilled hygienists will be the first to meet with you to perform a thorough cleaning and take x-rays of your mouth. We do this so that we can get a good look at the condition of your teeth, and see if there’s anything the doctor should know beforehand so that he can pay special attention to it. Then, you will be seen by Dr. Fellner and he will do a full examination of your teeth and overall oral health. If there are cavities or other issues that the doctor finds, we will set up a second appointment to continue treatment.

Also, for our patients who experience dental anxiety, we are more than glad to offer nitrous oxide sedation. Everyone on our staff is trained in nitrous delivery, so do not hesitate to request any extra assistance. Your comfort and wellbeing is our top priority.
